Richard is originally from Windsor Locks, CT and presently lives in Greenwich, CT. He has over 25 years of diverse tennis teaching experience, including a specialized tennis teaching degree from Tyler Junior College, known as the "Tennis Tech" program, extensive country club and health club history, early childhood development, junior and player development training to national and international levels as well as professional tour coaching.

He has also been certified with the USPTA at a P1 level and with the USPTR at the Professional Level.
